it's that time of year again

it's great this time of year, because you can feel everything coming and changing.

There's a great quote out there from a great novel that just maybe you've heard of?
The Great Gatsby?
"Life start's all over again when it gets crisp in the fall."
There's too many reasons for me to love this.
a) I love Autumn more than any other time of the year
b) Who doesn't love the idea of everything starting over?
and
c) It's highly ironic because usually fall is supposed to represent getting old, being tired, pretty much beginning to die
Any thought's anyone?

Like I said up above, you can literally feel the change, and see the change.

Today I was sitting outside on my back deck, looking up at the trees, peaking for hints of yellow, orange and red.  Not any color spotted today, sadly. but then again, maybe we shouldn't wish this summer away too fast.

You can also FEEL the change.  Every August the air turns... it feels cooler and dryer. At least here in the north east.

Soon time to break out the fall scented candles. What's your favorite?

I have to say this seems premature talking of Autumn, but it is something I wait for all year.

Being able to crack open your window and feel the breeze blow in.

It's just too perfect.

Something fun to do: Hop on your tumblr and scroll through the past a few months and watch as your pictures change from obsession to obsession, focus to new focus, summer to fall... brights to more mutred colors.  Whatever you blog, you're sure to see some difference.

Because Autumn/fall isn't always about dying... it's about beginning new when the older things turn crisps.  They're still there on you're tumblr page, but things are changing...

... right in front of you and around you.
